Our Client is a Singapore based start-up, a non-custodial software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that empowers cryptocurrency traders with real-time on-chain analytics and direct, secure order transmission to independent decentralized exchanges. They are hiring a Senior Java Backend Engineer, to lead the development of the high-performance execution layer for copy trading and on-chain crypto products. 

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Own and build the high-performance backend execution layer for core crypto trading and copy trading infrastructure.
• Hands-on Leadership: Function as a primary individual contributor (IC) who writes clean, production-ready code while providing technical direction to the local engineering workflow.
• AI Integration: Leverage modern AI-native engineering tools to accelerate product delivery, optimize architecture, and reduce development cycles.
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional technical teams in Shenzhen and product leadership in Singapore to ensure seamless deployment.

Key Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Java backend development and high-throughput microservices.
• Experience: 5 to 15 years of software engineering experience, including a strong track record of building products from 0 to 1 or leading small engineering teams.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep familiarity with crypto trading systems, CEX/DEX infrastructure, or on-chain DeFi protocols. Direct exposure to copy trading architecture or the Hyperliquid ecosystem is a strong advantage.
• AI-Native Workflow: Active, practical experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codeium) to boost development velocity.
• Languages: Professional fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken) for daily cross-border teamwork.
